Guys, I never learned why the Combine Guard Gun has two models with two designs. The v_model makes me think of a f*cked up cake or a rock, while the model that the CGuard actually carries around is like a chaingun made of a crystal. Anybody have any theories as to why they were made like that?

Actually, now that I think about it, it's more of a clash of concepts. Honestly I think that the CGuard's gun model that it actually holds should be used as the v_model.

hmm , the view model DOES really look screwed up, i guess when they made the view model it had a different design. in the real Half-Life 2 Beta Leak, it looks allot different than that.

OK, simple answer was, they wanted to make it much like the old organic guns from op force (specialy the first, greeny yellow desighn) this be why ^^
