Alright well i'm having a stab at recreating the Combine Super Soldier from scratch

Awesome. Keep working, might get some awesome stuff.

Also I couldn't help but notice this is the same program 3DRealms used for DNF.

And the same program a certain modeler from a certain modding team uses.

Still, your shit will probably come out better.

ZBrush is a very popular modeling program. It's almost a requirement to have prior knowledge of ZBrush if you enrol in a game development coarse at university.

It's fun, relatively easy, and rarely fucks up either.

Yes its around 3 million at the moment.. But thats the idea...

The process of creating a high def model with low polys is to create a high poly model first, then save the normal maps for that high poly model, then export a low poly version of the model and then apply the high quality normal maps to it, to give the illusion of a high quality model...

LOL it's nowhere near ready for compiling yet... it's just a WiP test model to see if i could actually create something like that synth model..

It still needs lots more detail plus textures
