| There's a few things I didn't like in that video.
One is Alyx's model, especially the hair.
There's absolutely no sign of alpha channels in that render anywhere.
The Strider and hunter chopper muzzleflashes look pretty bad.
Freeman's head is.. well, not very good for him at all.
The HEV suit just looks like Kathar's HEV suit with unwelded and unsmoothed vertices.
Other than that, it was beautiful.

Well yeah, I'm a modeler, what do you expect. This kind of stuff is going to be my major in college so I need to find the flaws in things to fix them. I know I make myself look like a douche in the process, but that's just how I roll. | |
