I can't even launch my beta now

Ok just got it running, but in my requast for full screen... THE WHOLE FUCKING THING GOT DESTROYED... Yeah :/
And this is at my school btw (would never try this horrible shit at home) So it's even harder to get it reinstalled Dx

If you really want to try it out without breaking your own Beta I recommend applying the patch to the custom HL2 Leak package I posted a few month ago in the dl section.

or just copy-paste the fixed maps - I found their versions of e3_bugbait e3_c17_02 e3_c17_01p e3_end e3_phystown e3_seafloor e3_techdemo_5 and e3_under_02 pretty useful.

But still, the fixed beta you posted were like porn. Probaly best beta release evar. (except when it got leaked back in 2003 XD)

Do it dude, it even comes with a startup Bat that does alot of kewl stuff too.
It's really sweet. I also think it has a bunch of new levels in it

hm, what error message do you get then? Something about the game not being able to load a required dll?

A actually can't remeber XD Well i did get it working, all i had to do was to run some test batch. After that i could start it and play it, sadly it wasn't fullscreen ._.
and as i tried to get it fullscreen i ended up destroying the whole thing so i had to redownload it lawls XD

Well, my old launcher batch script will not work properly with the Axel Project since they updated the source build and cvar commands list in their release - you'll have to use the one that they provide instead - it's called "hl2_run.bat" I think. That one should make the game launch fullscreen.

I have posted an updated version of the HL2 Beta pack with a few more goodies - link can be found in the old topic!
