why do we wanna discuss abunch of communists and what not, trolling eachother political wise?

It was like:
Russia: We got nuke!!!

America: We will target out nukes at Russia trolololol
Russia: We target our nukez at America for the lulz

It went on like that till someone said stop. Or thats what i heard....

It wasn't really a war, Sure there were operations going on with both sides, But it was really about who was going to push the button first.

The only real threat was when the Russians had a nuke launch site on Cuba, Meaning they could target Washington DC. But at the same time, We had a base in Turkey (I spelled it wrong, hahaha.) which we could use to target Moscow. Eventually, We came to an agreement and dismantled our missile bases. (They did theirs first, We did ours secretly).

That's really the most of it, Unless you want Vietnam or Berlin.

Everyone knows why USA got involved in 'Nam. Communism, of course. North-Vietnam's communistic ideaology.
But what USA did after the loss? It sounds weird, but they supported the communist party of Kampuchea, Khmer Krahom's terror rule over Vietnam as a payback for their loss.

And Soyuz 2 being destroyed on launch, despite the fact that in real life, Soyuz 1 lifted off successfully in 1967 (not 1963), burning up on re-entry and reducing pilot Vladimir Komarov to a potato-sized piece of carbonized flesh.

Soyuz 2 was relatively uneventful and took place one entire year after that, not 30 minutes after.
