Little bit of history here!
Basicaly, 5 days after i was born, chernobyl blew its top (what a welcoming gift into this world eh?) sinse reading about it very indepthly (and reading on how fucking brave the people of russia really are compared to the rest of this cesspit of a world)
i started to map the place ^^ :





More to come, might even put it in the mod as a memorial but for some reason...I feel I NEED to finish this map :S

Yes and no jenkins...I feel a certain somin about chernobyl that is mine alone......very strange feeling, but i guarntee by the end of this maps life it will be useing ALL your textures lol and for some reason i forsee you wanting todo its cooling tower................

not on that Chernobyl map tho tonight is the first ive seen it

unfortunatly it doens't look asif I'LL be mapping till valve once again sort out there shitty bugs....jenkins has jusstsat with me and tried his best to get my hammer working, however the bugs won't disappear...the grid doesn't show up and the models go white and black......

Got hammer working with source 2007...who'd of thunk it ¬_¬ (thanks jenkins!)
and ive run into a snag....
The ONLY pictures than i can find of chernobyl and its sargophigus, are pics from the front like so:





As you can see, most if not ALL of chernobyls pictures are taken from this angle, or infront if you will....what i need is some pictures of whats behind this.

IF ANYONE out there has any or can find some and upload them here I will be in there debt (migght even sort out a price as im that desperate lol)

Do pre-sarcophagus pictures featuring the side of the reactor and part of the back work?

was JUST saying ths to jenkins that some before pictures wouldn't hurt, the sargophigus was only placed on the front of the building so the back is pretty much intact and from 1986, so yeah some before screenies from behind would be just as good bud

Ravine update:
Dunno why my skybox is all pixelated, i compiled it with nolod and nomipmaps and it's the same size as valve's :S

So this mod is using Leak .VMF's?

I really like this project.
