A New Direction

Hello people

I have been giving ALOT of though as to exactly WHAT I want from this mod as one of its creators.......
Should it be a game, a mod....a mp, a machima? a webcomic.....
I'd love a game but...tbh i'd love to make an online series even more. I've spent so much time on the story that to me the emotion from the characters woulnd't be the same as a game...so my question is, would it work as a machima.
Ive already started making new storyboard comics forit (expect styrofoam cups).

it will only work if you know how to make one, and I mean you must know how to use every tool at your disposal
you need an animator, a modeler some one who knows how to use faceposer, some non copyrighted music (fucking youtube)

go for a webcomic, I actually dropped the our whole idea for the cartoon, its going to be a web comic, much easier, you just have to have a scanner, drawing skillz, creativity, and a deviant art account

Machinima would be very hard to pull off. I guess if you want you can try doing a little "pilot", and if you're satisfied with everything you can try continuing, but overall, a webcomic would definitely work.

I've also thought about a Digital Graphic Novel (MGS did it for PSP)

Yeah it could be drawn or we could use a comic style or even something like still shots taken from the mod ingame, would be much easier to map for something like that...

Sounds pretty damn cool. Since it isn't as hard to do as machinima you could easily do one as a prologue for the mod.

I think you all should do a comic of some form, Hart is AMAZING at posing and writing a story
and Jenkins and Hart make one hell of a mapping team

I think a comic would be best suited to what you want to convey

Just because they would rather play a mod doesn't mean they wouldn't read a comic, especially if the mod is having troubles.

If troubles were to come up, then I think you'd have to go for a comic. Hart knows a lot about comics, and you could publish it on PHW.
