It's not just the level designers lol

Everything is messy from codes to file and duplicate files, to scripts, materials and models..

....If you lot valve at its worst, go to the mappack and open up c17_04_41.....

Buildings within buildings, buildings that are only half finished (that are supposedly final product), diceplacements no sewing togeather, the lay out of the level isnt right (like a differnt area can be seen from another area) worst thing of all about this map, is valve pretty much took 3 encarnations of city 17, slapped them all into one map (skybox and all) deleted some buildings, didn't delete others and the best thing of all, some geomantry will NOT show up anymore, and won't show up even when orphaned_hidden objects is clicked, only way to tell they are there is by selecting nereby geomantry that DOES show up, then all of a sudden you get hit with basicaly another map WITHIN the map made out of wireframe that youll never ever see.......COOL HUH!?

oh if you want me examples look at mapping in l4d1 and 2, TERRIBLY slopped to the point you can see nodraw textures from the map itself :/

Or you can just play HL2 and see what a mess is in it after the update
