Kata Reviews: Blinx-2

Growing up, I went to the video rental place alot
I would get a game and it would take up my weekend
this is a game I got over and over and over and over until my mom finally bought it for me
it also heavily influenced me being a furry and my fursona in general

what appealed to me is I had some super hero I made up back then named "Cat-Man"
I drew comics with shitty stories and horrible drawings
being able to PLAY AS cat-man was kick ass
I out grew cat-man
but I still love this game despite its problems

This is my impressions of a forgotten game buried in the sea of meh Xbawks games



sadly, this game could have been so much better
it had an overlooked amazing character creation system
great puzzles, but lacked the puzzle solving ability due to some arse-hole telling you EXACTLY WTF TO DO!
and you also had to play as a cat, AND some gay pig faggots
I wish those were entirely separate campaigns, can I just stick to playing as cat-man?



so after not playing the game for over 2 years
I got a nastolgiasplosion
it was awesome
then the awesomeness and the novelty of playing as my own customized furry cat person faded away
and the game isnt bad, but it isnt good either



now, when I was a kid, two things were awesome
tigers and time-control
playing as a tiger who could control time was AWESOME
and it still makes me smile to this day



game play as the cats is interesting
you can stop time to bash an enemies head in with a barrel fired out of a vacuum, much like the gravity gun
slow down time and dodge bullets matrix style
speed up time to avoid timed doors and switches
and record... I never figured out when the fuck to use record, EVER

as the pigs -_-
you must sneak around and kill poor kitties with traps and various other nefarious devices (that kinda rhymed X3) then steal some gold... or money... or SOMETHING in a giant bag with a nice big $ on it



so all in all
as much as I loved this game, I admit, it fucking sucks
gets maybe... I dunno
a half furry thumbs up, for me being able to play as a time stopping tiger

so yeah,great idea, great customization, shitty gameplay
