Doomlord's storyline shit.

Well time to post some of my own ideas.I'm gonna start with my redesigned Combine SWAT unit(the old design looked different).



Basically in my storyline besides the normal Metrocops which act as normal police (beating up citizens etc.) there are these guys.They are pretty much the Combine version of SWAT: when the metrocops can't do their job these guys get called in.They have better training,access to better gear,vehicles,weapons and pulse shields.Their HQ is located in the New City.These guys are the most common type of troops Freeman encounters on his journey with the Overwatch being reserved for when the shit really hits the fan(and the Overwatch troops would be hard as shit to fight).Barney is working undercover as one of these guys,not a simple metrocop.

Anyways this is my version of the Combine Soldiers.These guys are supposed to be tough as shit(unlike the retail ones).They usually patrol the wasteland and are only called in when both the Metrocops and the SWAT teams fail to do their job.They operate together with synths and have the most advanced tech at their disposal(Upgraded pulse shields, plasma weapons etc.)

Uniforms come in different colors(this particular one is for the consul's guards).
Helmets have various models depending on the soldier's job(snipers, heavy weapons etc).

What gun is he holding?

Same gun from RTB.

I have no idea what it is, though.

Doesn't appear in the leak or anything.
