Some Trivia about Voice actors hired by Valve.

• Dennis Bateman, the voice actor who does the voice of Pyro & Spy in TF2 was also the voice of the Helicopter pilot in Left 4 Dead.
  
  
  
• Ellen McLain, the voice of the announcer in TF2 was also the announcer for the Overwatch in HL2 series and the voice of GLaDOS.
  
  
• Robin Downes, the voice of the medic in TF2 is quite a popular voice actor in the games community. He has been the voice of many different characters in nearly 200 different titles.
  He is also an on-screen actor and has been in shows like Charmed, Buffy and Babylon 5.
  
  
  
• Grant Goodeve, the voice of the engineer in TF2, has only been a voice over in 3 video games, the others being FEAR & Star Fox Assault on Gamecube. He is another onscreen actor that has been around since the 70s.
  
  
  
• John Patrick Lowrie, the voice of the TF2 sniper, was the narrator for Total Annihilation. He also did additional citizen voices for HL2.

• Rick May (TF2 Soldier) was also the voice of Wolf O'Donnell in Star Fox 64. Which means both Grant Goodeve and Rick May have done voices for the same character for different versions of the StarFox series.
  
  
  
• The voice actor for the heavy, Gary Schwartz, was also the Airport Runway Radio announcer in Left 4 Dead. Both Gary and John Lowrie did voices for the infamous No One Lives Forever 2 (NOLF2) which is still classed as one of the best action games of all time. (Not in my opinion but it is a fact)

• Robert Guillaume, the voice of Eli Vance, is a long time on-screen actor. He also voiced the character "Rafiki" in the Lion King series & has a Star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood most likely for his lengthy lead role in "Benson"
  
  
  
• Robert Culp, the voice of Breen passed away this year on the 24th of March. He was also a long time onscreen actor that some of you might remember from Everybody loves Raymond (he was Debra's father).
  
  
  
• Louis Gossett Jr., who was the voice of the Vortigaunts is yet another long time onscreen actor, who for most of you Stargate fans would know as "Gerak" from SG-1's Season 9 "Ori" story arc.

• Michelle Forbes, the voice of Mossman, again is another onscreen actor who has been in shows like 24, Battlestar Galactica, Seinfeld, Lost, Boston Legal, Prison Break & Star Trek NG. She is also a lesbian lol.
