| 2 questions:
1. How do I properly distribute smoke fumes across a map? I'm trying to get a little bit all around the 3d skybox but it always came out as too much or as little clusters along the map.
2. Is there a way for me to see all copies of a certain entity in a map? Like let's say I want to try to find and mark the location all the light entities, how do I go about doing that?
Thank you. | |

Thank you. 1. There are several ways of doing this... remember that anything you put in the 3d skybox with be scaled by a factor of 16x, so using a smokevolume brush entity might not be the best way to do it. I suggest a particle system of some sort... have a look on VDC on how to use the PET, it's not that hard and you have more control over the particles themselves rather than the un-editable look of the smokevolume brush entity 2. Sure is Go to Map Menu > Entity Report ( NOT Entity Gallery). There you have a searchable list of all entities in your map, you can show and hide hidden objects, search by classname or actual name...

| Ok, I'm trying to get a hanging lamp to work properly, but every time I load the map it always drops straight to the ground like it was 50 lbs. Any help? | |

| Lamp thing fixed, nvm.
On another note, can someone please give me a crash course on clipping brushes? I can't ever seem to get it right.

| Btw, how do I make it so that when I shoot the lamp enough times it breaks off with (or without) the rope? | |

| On a related note, how do I make shootable signs? Like the ones the snipers shoot at in the very beginning of Follow Freeman? | |

I believe it involves using the "bullseye" thing to make the sniper shoot it. That's all I know. I'm gonna ask Jenkins lol
